Mr. Raúl Henríquez
Co-Founder, President and CEO, Hencorp
Mr. Henríquez is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business (MBA) and has over 18 years of financial experience. He has worked with the Hencorp Group of Companies since 1984. During this time, Mr. Henríquez has served as Chairman and Director of the Central American Investment Fund as well as Director of the Salvadorian Stock Exchange. He has also served as President of Grupo Financiero Capital.
Mr. Víctor Henríquez
Co-Founder, Hencorp
Mr. Víctor Henríquez is Chairman of Hencorp Becstone LC. Previously, he was Director of Emerging Markets at Macquarie Bank. He enjoys more than 25 years experience in the financial markets, specializing in Commodities and Emerging markets. His career started in 1979 at Paine Webber as a stock and commodity broker. In 1981 he joined REFCO Inc. as an introducing broker and in 1995 he was appointed Managing Director of Emerging Markets for Latin America, where he served for another 10 years.
Mr. Felipe Holguín
Partner, Hencorp
Mr. Holguín has 14 years experience in principal investing, merchant banking and M&A in Latin America and the United States. Previously, he served as a Managing Director of Huron Consulting Group. Prior to this, he was a Managing Director and the head of the New York office of Latin America M&A and Merchant Banking for Bank of America Securities. There, his group managed a Bank-funded private equity fund of $300 million dollars. Previously, he was a Vice President at Salomon Smith Barney in New York in the M&A and Corporate Finance groups, as well as a consultant at the Boston office of the Boston Consulting Group. Mr. Holguín has dual BS degrees with High Honors in Manufacturing Engineering and Management Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Oscar Schaps
Partner, Hencorp
Head, Hencorp Becstone Futures
Mr. Schaps oversees all commodity related businesses at Hencorp, including Hencorp Commcor Brazil, and Coffee Network. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Florida and has more than 20 years of professional experience. Mr. Schaps joined Hencorp in 1989 and has served as Director or Committee Member for various international coffee organizations such as the National Coffee Association of America, Pacific Coast Coffee Association, and the Association for Coffee Excellence.
Eduardo Alfaro
Head, HB Capital
A graduate of University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Alfaro has over 10 years of international and corporate banking experience with
Banco Capital and Banco Agrícola in El Salvador. His banking experience has been concentrated largely in the Central American region. Mr. Alfaro is based in the Company's Central American office in San Salvador.
Eduardo von Simson
Director of Sales and Business Development, Global Investor Services
Mr. von Simson holds an MBA degree in Finance from Bentley College and a BA in Economics from the Universidad Católica Argentina. Prior to joining GIS, Mr. von Simson led institutional sales for Latin America, for London based independent wealth management boutique. Before that, he worked 6 years at Lehman Brothers in Miami, as a Vice-President for high net worth and institutional clients in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Mexico. Prior to that, he worked 7 years with Banco Santander International in Miami, where he served as Vice-President in various areas of the bank, including Private Banking, Portfolio Management, Trading Desk and Marketing Administration department.
Helen Lumpuy
COO, CCO Global Investor Services

Ms. Lumpuy is the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Compliance Officer of Global Investor Services, L.C. (“GIS”). She is also the Chief Compliance Officer of Stratedge Investment Advisors.
Ms. Lumpuy has been employed by GIS and its predecessors since 1996. She received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University in 1982. She holds FINRA Series 7, 27, 24 licenses and has obtained her Certified Regulatory Compliance Professional (CRCP) designation through the NASD Institute – Wharton Certificate Program.
Alex Calvo
StratEdge Co-Founder, CIO
Mr. Calvo directs all investment strategies and oversees the portfolio management team for the Fund and the Master Fund. Before joining StratEdge Investment Advisers as Partner and CIO, Mr. Calvo was Director of Global Fixed Income at Franklin Templeton Investments. In this capacity he directed all global macroeconomic and fixed income research. He also served as member of Franklin Templeton’s Global Economic Committee and Global Asset Allocation Committee, and was responsible for global macroeconomic analysis, with a focus on currencies, interest rates and sovereign credit analysis of developed and emerging market countries. Flagship funds managed by Mr. Calvo included the Templeton Global Asset Allocation Fund, Templeton Global Total Return Fund, the Templeton Global Bond Fund, Templeton Global Income Fund, and Templeton Emerging Market Income Fund, quoted on the New York Stock Exchange. His funds received 5-Star ratings from Morningstar and S&P, and consistently ranked in the top quartile by Lipper and Micropal.
Mr. Calvo completed coursework toward a Ph.D. in Economics at Boston University. He received a Masters degree (MALD) from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Mr. Calvo also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Binghamton University in New York.
Roberto Canto
Managing Director, Alpha Capital Management
Roberto Canto is the Managing Director of Alpha Capital Management where he is responsible for managing the firm’s funds of funds. Alpha Capital is a private equity fund of funds manager with $300 million in committed capital across both single manager and multi-manager funds with a particular focus on middle market and small cap managers.
Prior to joining Alpha Capital, Mr. Canto was a Vice-President with UBS International where he was responsible for managing over $100 million in assets for private clients. While at UBS he managed a micro cap portfolio for a select group of clients and was responsible for all research, analysis and investment decisions. Mr. Canto earned his bachelor of science in economics with a concentration in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA in finance from Georgetown University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of LD Telecom and ANA Pharmaceuticals.
Steven Kosson
Managing Director, Head of Trading, Puma Capital
Steven joined Puma Capital in July 2008. Steven was Head of Distressed Equities and Special Situations for Hill Thompson, Magid & Co. , a division of Royal Bank of Canada for 8 years before joining Puma Capital. He began his career on Wall Street in 1997 at Credit Suisse’s online brokerage division DLJ Direct. In 1999 he joined Paragon Capital Markets as a junior equity trader with the Distressed Equities group.
He received a BS in Psychology with minors in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Arizona in 1995.
Steven currently maintains his Series 7, 55, 24, and 63.
Joshua Greenstein
President, Puma Capital
Mr. Greenstein joined Puma Capital in December 2007. He is an institutional wholesale equities trader specializing in trading over-the counter securities, specifically special situation and distressed equities. He began his career in 1994 with Paragon Capital Markets on their wholesale market making desk. In 1999, he joined Fleet Trading, a division of Fleet Bank, now Bank of America where he spent 3 years as a Principal and Trader on the OTC trading desk making markets in OTC Bulletin Board and Pink Sheet equities. In 2003 Josh established Wilson Davis & Co’s first New York office while returning to the Zicklin School of Business where he earned his MBA. He currently maintains his Series 7, 55, 24, and 63 designations.
