Since 1982, the Hencorp Group of Companies has provided financial services to a global / client base. The Group's early origins began brokering futures and options in the coffee industry. Today Hencorp Commcor, our brokerage firm based in Brazil, accounts for neraly 20% of the Brazilian market’s daily volume.
Over the years Hencorp has expanded its services to include securities brokerage, merchant banking, corporate finance, asset
management capabilities and fund management.
In 2000, the GIS (Global Investor Services) Group was developed to serve as a fully integrated support platform aimed at assisting financial institutions interested in providing private global banking services to its clients.
In 2002, to further diversify operations and deploy capital, Hencorp Capital was created. It functions as a finance company underwriting and arranging financing with the ultimate goal of selling the loans it originates. During 2003, Hencorp was certified as an Ex-Im Bank lender with the same strategy of underwriting and selling loans.
In 2005 the Calvo Funds were created to launch a premier group of funds for International and US based individuals and institutional investors with focus on global, macroeconomic and financial market trends.
In 2008 Puma Capital, Equities Broker / Dealer, was established
In 2010, after almost 30 years of recognized leadership in the coffee industry our Futures Brokerage Firm, Hencorp Futures was sold to INTL FC Stone.
