Management Raul Henriquez, President & Managing Director: a graduate of the Wharton School of Business (MBA), Mr. Henriquez has over 18 years of financial experience. Mr. Henriquez has worked with the Hencorp group of companies since 1984. In addition, during this period of time Mr. Henriquez has served as Chairman and a Director of the Central American Investment Fund as well as a Director of the Salvadorian Stock Exchange. Mr. Henriquez has also served as President of Grupo Financiero Capital. Eduardo Alfaro, Vice President: a graduate of University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Alfaro has over 7 years of international and corporate banking experience with Banco Capital and Banco Agricola in El Salvador. His banking experience was centered largely in the Central American region. Mr. Alfaro is based in the Company's Central American office in San Salvador. Antonio M. Arbulu, Vice President: a graduate of University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Arbulu has over 10 years of correspondent banking and international trade finance experience in the Central and South American region. Mr. Arbulu worked with Hamilton Bank in Miami, Florida prior joining Hencorp. During his tenure in Hamilton Bank, Mr. Arbulu managed over $900 million of exposure in the Latin American region consisting of correspondent banking and corporate relationships.
Fernando Diaz, Vice President of the Company with primary responsibility to develop the Export Import Bank financing activities. Mr. Diaz is a graduate from Duke University (MBA), and has over 8 years of international finance experience. Mr. Diaz has been a Director for Lucent Technologies' Project Finance Organization for the last 2 years, covering the Caribbean and Latin America. During his tenure at Lucent, Mr. Diaz participated in a number of vendor financing deals and project financing for Telecommunications projects in the region. Additionally, Mr. Diaz participated in a vendor finance program project involving the U.S. Ex-Im Bank, The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and the International Finance Corporation, aimed at providing financing for Lucent's small ticket sales through distributors in the region. Prior to this position, Mr. Diaz was part of Citigroup's Global Corporate & Investment Bank in New York City. At this position, Mr. Diaz worked at the Acquisition Finance, Project Finance and Asset-Based Finance Groups. During his tenure at Citigroup, Mr. Diaz participated in corporate structured loans, Debtor in Possession Financing and project financing for both domestic and Latin America specific transactions. Prior to this position, Mr. Diaz was part of Oberto, Sosa and Associates in Venezuela and participated in M&A transactions, securitizations, debt workouts and capital market offerings.
